OUR MISSION

HONORARY KIN LLC (HK) is more than just an e-commerce brand; it's a thriving community dedicated to personal growth and connectedness.

Our mission is to inspire and support individuals on their journaling journeys by offering thoughtfully designed tools and engaging community workshops.

OUR WHY

We spent an entire year connecting with people who are interested in journaling, but struggled along their journaling journey. Some were new to it, while others had been doing it for years and lost their rhythm. We discovered that no matter where you are, it can be tough to get started and find your flow.

Our founders, a lifelong journaler and a previously avowed non-journaler, realized that the traditional concept of journaling (journal at a specific cadence using a specific writing method focused on specific content) can be limiting and daunting. After our year of research and connection, we found that journaling can be more than that limited scope. Journaling at its core is all about connecting with ourselves and the honorary kin in our communities. We're excited to explore the possibilities of what journaling could be through our workshops and tools to journal without the pressures that come with the practice of "journaling".

COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS

Our virtual community workshops provide a space for individuals to discover, create, and share journaling techniques as a way to make journaling more accessible. All you need to do is register via Eventbrite, get on the Zoom the day of, and bring a writing utensil and some paper to get started. We'll guide you along the way.
